Not fully detailed but good enough, the story Dead Inside is basically his story after all that has happened with flashbacks galore... when I quit being lazy and rework it, etc.

Unique: He is the only person to kill the Devil... or rather the previous devil. He is now the universe's known devil (or grim reaper), going from time period to countless dimension to kill those who need a little... push. He is what we call, "The Equalizer."

Personality: Rather to himself, Intellectual, Asshole at times, Has little to no emotions at all
History: Little is known before history re-wrote itself after becoming the new devil. But here's what is had...

Born Ichigowa, Cairo into a rather notable family. He was always pretty intelligent though rarely liked to show it in his studies. His family was murdered by an unknown figure that seemed to come from out of shadows. Luckily he was blessed with friends like Tai and Jenni. But as the years past... the times became worse. Every friend close to him became part of a mass murdering going on in his country. Strange thing... there were never any clues, nothing but dead bodies.

When all seemed lost, Cairo began wandering the world for somewhere to fit in. But everywhere he would go, all that he began to love sudden became part of the same ordeal he had left back in Dnalgne. He slowly began to isolate himself from society... losing more and more of himself everyday. Until the day he returned to Dnalgne and stumbled upon a lady going by the name, Charlys. He slowly fell for her, but always tried to hide his feelings for her as they spent time together... hoping all the while no harm would come to her. After spending almost 2 years with her, she finally told him the truth about her on a rather ominous day as the sky darkened... she was the daughter of the Devil. Cairo was rather surprised, yet was now in the know of why the sky was darkening... the Devil was coming for his daughter.

Upon retrieving his daughter, the Devil noticed he had himself a stowaway. Charlys and Cairo pleaded to be together but the Devil would not have it. They finally came upon the decision that Cairo would become his apprentice and was to complete a number of assignments (killings of innocents). It was on his last and greatest mission that he would fail upon fighting his greatest battle. Within the city of Korywen, Cairo dueled with a powerful monk (Kento) over the life of one that was to be important one day. Darkness flooded the city that day, something that was unheard of in such urban areas. As the fight ensued, both combatants bodies slowly fused with the darkness... but this only lead to Cairo downfall as he became intoxicated by the power. Kento quickly defeated him and sealed all the darkness that flooded the city. Cairo was left on the streets in a puddle of artificial darkness.

Upon returning the Underworld, Cairo was turned down by the devil and put off as a failure. But Cairo and Charlys stayed just as rebellious... grasping onto one another. The Devil upon leaving the throne room, quickly returned with Hell's crown of glory, "Demon's Knife." With one swing, the massive butcher knife-looking blade cut down Charlys... beheading her. The same swing removed Cairo's right upper half and lower leg. As the Devil laughed at Cairo's suffering of the sight, the boy in rage stood, supported surprisingly by his own blood. His blood solidified into the lower leg that was missing as well as the right half of his upper body. Cairo slowly lost consciousness as a dark voice within him repeatedly spoke "The knife... the knife." As his eyes tensed and darkened out, the teen quickly lift the blade (something meant to be impossible except by it's true wielder) and ran the Devil through. As blood-hungry teen cackled in joy at the easy victory, his surroundings began to crumble. He slowly snapped to and realized something was wrong. One he was alive, two his limbs were not gone, three the devil lay alongside Charlys, and four his right eye was slowly losing vision. As what of his surroundings finished crumbling, he was suddenly left in an eternity of darkness before he blacking out. Upon opening his left eye (the right eye for some reason would not open) he saw he was back in the familiar place... all was the same. At least... all was the same for his new memories, there was no sign of the Devil or his daughter and there was a few cages near his throne occupied by sensual succubi, ready to fulfill orders at his command. He cared little of the bland surroundings or anything at all... his emotions were completely wiped away. As he slowly walked for his throne, he suddenly felt the feeling he was to go to elsewhere to help balance the universal scale. And as he lifted the bandanna that covered his right eye, he remembered something... he had just killed the family of a child the other day.

Sorry... but this information is but a theory of how the devil came to be, but we think it could be true.

Hobbies: Killing others so to keep the universal scale from tipping (as the other, he kills for enjoyment without care of the scale)

Likes: Killing, being alone, drinking in inns, succubi & women (when The Other is in control)

Dislikes: Talkative people, Sun (he's not a vampire, but he hates the brightness), Giant beings (for they have their way with him, not vice versa... The Other doesn't like that being used as a sextoy)

Special Abilities: Controls Fire (only when The Other is in control), Controls Darkness, Controls Blood, Strength, Right Eye holds a curse similar to Miroku from Inuyasha... yet it's uses are infinite, not just for ridding oneself of powerful foes.
